About Me

Freedom is the ability to think, act and live in accordance with our nature.
- Orpheus Black

I grew up in a household with very strong power dynamics. With a father who was a career police officer, my family always knew where the power lay. As I got older, confronting power imbalances and injustices became the center of my life, specifically as they pertained to women, their bodies and sexual/reproductive health. I became a nationally recognized advocate for people’s ability to chose the life that was best for them, regardless of the needless stigma around those choices. My work in that field has been seen in Cosmo.com, MSNBC, The Dr. Drew Show amongst many others.

After over a decade of exploring my own sexuality, a Master’s in Social Work and a Master’s in Public Health, I am passionate about carving out space for people to fully embrace their sexual selves. I believe that the consequence of not doing so in a supported manner lay at the heart of so many of our social injustices today.

Our bodies are capable of such profound pleasures that can bring use closer to a deep sense of liberation and peace. The connection we have with each other is the key to unlocking these gifts. I have seen how kink and BDSM can be one of the most effective ways to activating connection and am devoted to normalizing and celebrating this form of sexual expression for not only my clients but also my community.
